Andrea Delogu was born in Sassari in 1960. He has worked for the Fininvest Group for about 30 years, first at Mondadori and then at Mediaset.
Studies and Education
After completing classical high school in 1979 at Liceo Ginnasio D. A. Azuni in Sassari, he earned a degree in Law in 1984 from the University of Sassari, a degree in Political Science in 1988 from the University of Sassari, and a degree in Philosophy in 2007 from the State University of Milan. He specialized in economics and business management at the Adriano Olivetti Institute - ISTAO (Ancona) in 1984/85.
Journalistic, managerial, academic and association experiences
In 1977 he took his first steps in the world of communication, first in independent radio broadcasting (co-founder and speaker of Studio '900, Sassari) and later, from 1981 to 1984, in print journalism, collaborating with the newspapers La Nuova Sardegna (Sassari, Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso) and L'Unità (Rome), in both cases mainly on local and sports news pages. He has been a professional journalist since 1984 (Order of Journalists of Sardinia and, from 1990, of Lombardy). From 1986 to 1988 he worked in the Human Resources Department of Ing. C. Olivetti & C. (Ivrea).
From 1988 to 1991 he was hired by Arnoldo Mondadori Editore (first Gruppo CIR and later Fininvest, Milan), where he dealt with human resources management and labor relations.
In 1991 he worked at Sandoz Prodotti Farmaceutici - Novartis (Milan) as Internal Relations Coordinator.
From 1991 to 1994 he was editor-in-chief of the monthly magazine Intraprendere - iniziative di successo (Compagnia di Ventura, Sassari). Since 1992, at Reti Televisive Italiane - RTI (Fininvest), he has been responsible for HR in the production centers and network departments (Milan and Rome).
An executive since 1997, he served as Head of Journalistic Personnel at RTI (Mediaset). From 1998 to 2000, within the Videotime Production Department (Mediaset), he was Coordinator of Productive Resources for the Entertainment, Sports and News areas. From 2001 to 2010 he was Director of News Productions for the Mediaset Group's newsrooms (TG5, TG4, Studio Aperto, Videonews, TGCOM24).
He has also been a consultant for CIRIEC - International Center of Research and Information on the Public, Social and Cooperative Economy (Milan, 1985), Genny Moda (Ancona, 1985) and Fondazione Giulio Pastore (Rome, 1986/88).
Since 2010 he has been Deputy General Director and Coordinator of Information at Reti Televisive Italiane (Mediaset). He is editor-in-chief of the periodical magazines published by Fivestore - Brand Extension (Mediaset). He has taught Branding, Corporate Identity and Lobbying at the Department of Psychological, Educational and Communication Sciences of Università Suor Orsola Benincasa (Naples), Management of Publishing Companies in the IULM Master's in Journalism (Milan), and Business Economics and Communication at the Faculty of Philosophy of Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (Milan). He is a serving board member and Past President (2012/20) of Assolombarda's Media, Communication and Entertainment Group (Milan).
